Toh rubbed her feet and she looked at him with wide eyes.
"Uh, you don't have to-do." Sumire stammered flustered.
"I insist." Toh kept massaging her feet. "What happened to your shoes?"
"Oh. I threw those on the jerk that had Asahi pinned down." Sumire's gaze darkened. "A waste of good shoes, but I wanted to knock him out and then savour his death."
Toh stopped massaging her feet and instead started to kiss and lick the wounds, causing her cheeks to colour.
"Toh---" Sumire started.
"Should I have just allowed you to seduce me on your own. But, now it seems I will be doing the work." Toh mumbled.
"T-then-can you do your work elsewhere?" Sumire said shyly.
His lips curved to a smile and he nodded and lays them both back down on the bed. Sumire immediately shifted closer.
"Sumire."
"Happy birthday."
His lips curve to a single. "Are you my present?"
"Your actual gift is at home but yes for now, it'll have to be me."
Toh chuckled. "I do like having you as my gift."
"I can imagine." Sumire caressed his cheek. "I really am sorry for being late."
"Don't be, is your friend okay?"
"Yeah, I had to lecture her for getting captured." Sumire sighed. "She ended up getting caught, because she overheard them bad mouth me and revealed her hiding place."
"I'd do the same to protect your honour."
Sumire smiled. "That's sweet, but you really don't have to. I'm used to it."
"You shouldn't be."
His thoughts broke off when Sumire changed positions so she was on top of him.
"You shouldn't trust me so much. Do you remember what those men said when we first met?
"That you were dangerous?"
Sumire chuckled. "That I can cut your throat in your sleep after sleeping with you."
"I remember." Toh brushed his fingers across her lips. "I also remember taking an even greater interest after hearing that."
It truly sparked his curiosity. After sleeping with her, after giving her so much pleasure to make her voice turn horse. Would she have had the strength to move let alone cut out his throat? Had he not gotten her drunk that first time, would it have lead to a situation where she ended up emotional and sleeping with him?
Now that he thought about it, the emotional part is probably the reason why she didn't cut his throat.
"Did I ever tell you..how strange you are?" Sumire mumbled.
"What happened to being interesting?"
Sumire laughed. "Your still interesting," She trailed off. "Are you really sure about me? We just started this relationship, and seldom anybody knows. We can still--"
Toh cuts her off by kissing her. "I'm sure."
He has never been more sure of anything in his entire life.
Sumire's gaze is soft and she laughed softly after he pulled away. "I think I am getting used to that."
His lips curve to a smile. "Is that so? I suppose we can test you." Toh is on top of her in seconds. He grabbed hold of her hand, and made sure she was comfortable. Before leaning down.
"I'll be taking the first part of my gift now." Toh mumbled.

Tuesday 6th April
When sunlight poured into the room, Toh knew that it was time to get up. But, he didn't want to move at all.
Rare.
It was extremely rare to wake up with the girl in his arms.
Currently she was on top of him, and playing with his hair. Earlier he woke up to her kissing his chest, and gods--he would have shoved her head down elsewhere. Had he not seen that brief glimpse of innocence in her eyes.
They may be of similar ages now. But, she is still too young. He can't push her. There is time, they have time. Moreover, Sumire is starting to become more open with her own wants and needs.
Thinking about what she was doing to him earlier, made his body heat up. Gods, this girl will be the death of him.
"Morning." Toh mumbled.
Sumire nodded and continued to look at him.
"What?"
"You're here." Sumire pointed out.
Despite the vague wording, Toh understood. Normally, he would have left and gone to work by now. However, after last night. He didn't think it was wise to leave her alone.
Toh nodded. "I have some time to spare." He kissed her eyelids softly. "What about you? Didn't you warn me you'd be busy?"
"Ah." Sumire nodded.
"It's a shame, I planned to use this extra time for your lessons."
"I'll welcome the lesson another day. But I have a report to make."
Right to Aki. Toh nodded. "I'm going to take a quick shower, what about you?"
"Mmm, I don't think I'll have time." Sumire trailed off. "I'll make a call first."
With those words said, Sumire got off him much to his dismay. He shakes off the unusual feeling and heads to the shower to cool off. No matter how much water he used however, his entire body still felt warm.
It's even more painful knowing that Sumire is not intentionally trying to seduce him. Toh pressed a button and the water turned colder. He needs to gather his own thoughts, regarding her and how he feels. At first she was simply interesting to him, however it seems like at some point something had changed.
When did it change? When did he start to truly want to be with her? This is bad, his own thoughts do not make any sense to him anymore. He cannot make sense of them. His growing emotions for her.
'I was so disappointed and hurt when she stood me up. It was my first time experiencing such emotions.'
He would never have thought himself capable of such a feeling.
'I am enjoying being with her and becoming more and more attached. As for how she feels, I think she is becoming attached to him too.' Yet Toh understood that even now Sumire was still in love with Terashima Yuhi.
