Sumire paused and then nodded. "It's okay. My dream isn't to get into a good university anyway."
Right, this girl is more focused on her career as an idol. Sometimes he forgets that she belongs to the entertainment industry. But, it takes one look at her face whenever she speaks about music to remind him.
"It's that important to you?"
Sumire nodded. "Yes. I understand that right now I am very far from achieving my goals. But, I am getting there bit by bit."
Toh recalled the image of her standing on stage. He remembered how mesmerised he was, not only at her beauty but her voice. He has never heard a voice like that. A voice with such gentleness, light and yet a mixture of other different emotions.
He already concluded that her voice is too good to belong to this universe, or even beyond it.
During her performance, his gaze remained on her. But, he sensed the emotions of everybody else in the crowd.
He wonders if Sumire knew how much hope and inspiration she brings others.
"You looked beautiful on stage." Toh mumbled as he kissed the end of her hair.
She laughed again, and he felt it again. A warm sensation in his heart. He didn't realise how much he liked listening to her voice, having her touch him and her laughter until recently. But now that he knows, he will make it his mission to hear her laugh more, to see that beautiful smile on her face.
"Thank you so much for the dress."
"Your welcome, it was my honour."
It truly was an honour for him to see her wear the clothes he designed. She makes each and every one of his designs shine. He truly has found his muse. He should have known the moment he saw her wear that simple yellow dress when they first met.
Sumire hands traced his cheek. "So, was it just a once? You offering one of your dresses for my show?"
Toh chuckled. "Not at all. But my gowns are very expensive."
"Indeed, I guess I should offer some form of payment." She trailed off. "You're definitely not lacking in money."
Toh saw her seriously debating about how to repay him and kissed her forehead. "You don't have to give me anything in return."
"Really?"
"I already said it was my honour. The image of you standing on that stage keeps me up at night."
"With inappropriate thoughts?"
"Very, inappropriate." Toh chuckled. "So, you knew?"
"Well, you have been all over me recently and touching me whenever you get the chance to."
"A good observation." He kisses her lips lightly. "One that will get you very far in this relationship."
"-and here I thought you were the sensible type."
"I am." Toh nodded.
Despite realising that he has desires for her, Toh knew what his limits were. He knew better than to pounce on her like an animal. The thought however was very entertaining. He never knew such emotions existed inside him.
Sumire rolled her eyes and moved her hands away from his cheek to his lips. "What if I put my fingers inside?"
Toh chuckled. "I think you'd get a very nice reaction from me." He trailed off. "Would you like to try?"
A faint tint of red appeared on her cheek and she averted her gaze. "I don't actually know what will happen."
"Then why did you suggest it?"
"B-because, I've seen some girls in school ahem with their boyfriends like this. So, I'll admit I am a bit curious. Isn't sticking your finger in someone's mouth weird? Why do they do it?"
Goodness, he thought he already knew how dense she was. But, this was on an entire different level. Even though she says it's weird, he can't miss the curious glint in her eyes. So, Toh opens his mouth wider and sticks Sumire's hand inside before she could protest. He stuck her her fingers inside.
He didn't hesitate to suck and lick her sweet flesh. After doing that for a few minutes, he pulled her fingers away now coated in his salvia.
Sumire hits him with her free hand, flushed. "Y-you didn't ask-"
"Sometimes asking doesn't involve words." Toh trailed off. "How was it?"
"I-I don't know! You did it so fast."
Toh raised his eyebrow. "Surely, you can still describe how it feels?"
Seeing her struggle to form words. Toh leads her to the bathroom and rinses her fingers with the water. The entire time he noticed that she was looking at him.
"Did I startle you?"
Sumire shakes her head. "N-no. I just," She trailed off. "I just-I admit I am curious about many things."
"Shocker."
Sumire pouted. "If you've known this entire time, why didn't you say so?"
He has known for a long time, how curious she was about everything, mainly regarding romance. The girl reads a lot of romance novels, it wasn't too hard to guess.
"I didn't want you feeling uncomfortable. Or think I was using you for your body."
Sumire sighed. "Since we already went through that when we were at the restaurant. I don't think you have anything to worry about." She trailed off. "I'm curious, and have many questions."
"I'm sure you do."
"But, I don't want you thinking I'm weird or anything-"
Toh shakes his head. "It's natural for you to be curious. You've never known any type of love and affection before, and even if you did, they never went through with it."
Her ex-boyfriend aside, neither Terashima Yuhi or the other guys who like her appear to have acted on their desires towards her. Toh paused. He actually doesn't know whether or not Terashima acted on it. For all he knew, Terashima did and Sumire just isn't saying anything.
Toh sighed quietly. What is he doing getting jealous of a guy who isn't by her side right now? He should be more worried about the other guys that like her.
"So, it's okay for me to be curious?"
Toh nodded. "More than okay, and if you ever want to act on that curiosity again. You just have to say the word, and we can do whatever you wish."
"Whatever?" Sumire repeated.
Seeing her looking at him with that same curiosity again, he had to stop himself from laughing. Not only was she glancing over curiously, he saw her face turn several shades of red. Toh leans over and kisses her forehead gently.
"Yes whatever, but for now. Let's relax."
For the next few minutes neither of them said a word, and he just enjoyed having her in his embrace. Safe, and well away from the dangers that lurked in the underworld.
