I Got 999 Level With One Cut

Loli Merlin carefully put half of her palm into the dark crack. She looked at the part of her body that was swallowed by the ink like darkness and was so scared that she immediately pulled her hand back.    

"The Plane Passageway that I used to leave was not like this."    

"This should not be a problem." Riko felt a little guilty. It might be because of her lack of confidence.    

"The last time you fed me the medicine, you also said the same thing!"    

"That was an accident. Everyone's constitution is different."    

Riko explained softly and hid beside Meiko.    

Loli Merlin sighed. Although the two of them quarreled so much, she still believed that Riko's trick would not trap her to death. The reason why the top Titled Devil Instructor stood at the top of magic was not only because they could control the destructive power of the elements. It was also because these people's understanding of the modern magic spell system had reached an unbelievable level. They could change the runes in the incantation with ease, change the arrangement of the elements, and create a brand new spell.    

Since Riko was a Level 9 Titled Devil Instructor, it was not an unimaginable thing for her to use her own elemental power to create a passageway that spanned across the Plane.    

The three of them walked in one after another.    

Passing through the Plane Passageway was a very strange experience, even if it was according to the proper method. When the Plane Passageway opened by drawing up the large formation array walked, one would feel that the surroundings were flickering with a strange and distorted halo, not to mention Riko's manual method of opening it.    

The Plane Passageway was essentially a large scale spatial folding spell. It could compress the distance between the Plane infinitely, and shorten it to the extent that a person could walk past it. As for how much it could compress, that would depend on the level of the person who placed it.    

The tunnel should have been absolutely dark. Riko held Meiko's hand and her other hand released a stable lighting skill which lit up the surrounding area.

At the end of the Plane Passageway, there was a garden in the darkness.    

This small garden seemed to be in a huge tree hole. The brown and hard wood fibers were faintly visible under the light. The only wooden door that led to the outside was tightly shut. Beautiful and exquisite flowers overlapped and fell, seemingly randomly opened. However, if one observed carefully, they would find that they would always be opened in the direction of a small basket in the middle of the garden that contained red fruits.    

A weak and beautiful firefly was floating in the air.    

"So beautiful."    

Riko sighed softly.    

"There are many more places in Endless Void that are more beautiful than this. Do you want to go and take a look?" Meiko asked.    

"Yes."    

Loli Merlin was the first one to notice the basket in the middle of the garden. She took a step forward and took out the piece of paper that looked like a Fruit of the World Tree that Shu Hsingnan had drawn with the help of her grandpa.    

The picture was exactly the same as the real thing.    

In front of them was the Fruit of the World Tree that the three of them had prepared to search for after going through so much hardship.    

Loli Merlin compared the picture drawn by Shu Hsingnan with the basket of red fruits in front of her and looked at them again and again. Finally, she confirmed that there was no difference between them.    

Hence, she gently took out a fruit from the basket and stuffed it into Riko's palm.    

She tilted her head slightly.    

"This is?"    

"Try it."    

Riko did not raise any suspicion and stuffed the fruit into her mouth.    

Loli Merlin looked at her appearance and secretly sighed.    

Riko clearly had such powerful strength but did not have the mental state that matched her strength. The world was very cruel. Many mages did not dare to eat the food given by others, unless they were certain that the food was safe.    

Fortunately, most of the people Riko met currently did not have any ill intentions towards her.

"Outsider! Outsider is in holy garden!"    

This elf's name was Torres.    

He was the grandson of Prince Romilus, who still held a high position in the empire. It was because of this special relationship that he was assigned to the easiest position in the holy garden as an administrator.    

The Elven Empire, which had once enslaved humans, had long disappeared. Now, even the oldest ancestors had disappeared. And only the legends of the past have ever heard of the glorious history of the elves. And now, elves could no longer afford to raise a privileged class like him.    

However, this had nothing to do with him.    

Every elf knew that holy garden was the most important place in the entire race. The fruit of the World Tree was still preserved here. When the ark was fully repaired, the elves would enter the resource-rich Plane again, and these fruits would be planted as seeds. New World Tree would germinate. Outsiders who entered the holy garden without permission would be punished. Hence, no elf would come to this place for no reason.    

Today, when Torres was patrolling the holy garden, he unexpectedly found a group of outsiders who had appeared out of nowhere.    

Among these three outsiders, one was tall and wore heavy armor. His face could not be seen. It was obvious that he was not an elf. The frail body of an Elf could not withstand heavy armor of this level. The other two faces were delicate, but the ears of the questions were different from that of an Elf. Then the answer was obvious.    

They were humans!    

Since young, everyone had told Torres that the elves' biggest enemy was not the magic beast that was right in front of them, nor was it this barren and desolate Plane environment. Instead, it was humans.    

Humans were once a race of lowly slaves. One day, they suddenly overthrew the rule of Elven Empire. These shameless and barbaric humans destroyed the World Tree and the Elven Throne. They forced the last of the elves to escape to Void on the ark. They struggled to survive in this trash Plane. And now, these few humans had actually openly appeared in the holy garden. This caused Torres to be unable to restrain his anger.    

At the same time, Riko kept feeling that the red fruit Loli Merlin gave her was a bit strange.    

The deep darkness surrounded Riko and her body softly lay in Meiko's arms. She temporarily lost consciousness.
