Chasing After My Wife

CONFESSION OF SECRETS I

CONFESSION OF SECRETS I

She watched him sleep while she thought of different way to confess to him. She wanted him to know everything about her. There's no point in building a relationship with hidden secrets.

'If you won't accept me, I'll just run away.' Jillyanna noted mentally. 'It was my initial plan and you stopped me. If things go wrong, I can always escape.'

'Alright. Let's start by making you feel comfortable.' she nodded her head to herself as if that was the best idea.

She picked up her phone from the bedside drawer and logged in to her social media account. She took a deep breath before typing what she wanted to say.

I AM GRATEFUL TO EVERYONE WHO SUPPORTED ME ALL THESE YEARS. I AM THANKFUL THAT YOU FOUGHT FOR ME WHEN I HAVE NO ONE ELSE. I AM SO HAPPY THAT I'VE BEEN ABLE TO EXPRESS MY EMOTIONS THROUGH SONGS.

HOWEVER, ALL JOURNEYS WILL STILL COME TO AN END. AND MY JOURNEY AS A SINGER AND COMPOSER WILL END TODAY. I JUST WANT TO LIVE MY LIFE AWAY FROM THE PUBLIC'S EYES. I JUST WANT TO GIVE MY CHILD A NORMAL LIFE.

THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR ACCOMPANYING ME FOR THE PAST YEARS. I AM SO GLAD THAT I'VE BECOME PART OF YOUR LIFE. I WISH YOU GUYS ALL THE BEST IN LIFE.

THIS IS YOUR GODDESS YNA, SIGNING OFF.

It was posted in the middle of the night so not many knew about it. Those people who read the post thought it was just a prank. They bombarded her post with comments and it was reposted multiple times. Travis was even mentioned a couple of times but Jillyanna no longer responded.

She turned her phone into silent mode and put it back on the table. She slid under the blanket and hugged Travis back to sleep. 'It is up to fate now.' she thought silently and bask in the comfort of his warmth.

The next morning, Travis woke up first. He slid out of the bed to pack their things since they will be staying in his place this time. Most of the things were Jillyanna's personal belongings since he's got clothes back in his house.

While folding her clothes, he received a phone call. He didn't want to make some noise so he went out for awhile to answer it.

"Why is she quitting?" It was Diego who called him so early in the morning.

"Who's quitting?" Travis asked him back.

"Jillyanna. She posted it in her timeline that she's quitting. What happened to her?"

"She did? I thought she was sleep talking last night. She did say that she'll quit." Travis admitted.

"I see. Do you need Wynwyn to do some PR for this?"

"I'll ask Jillyanna when she wakes up."

"Alright. I thought something happened to her again. You guys take care of yourself."

"Thanks." Travis ended the call and went back inside the room. He found Jillyanna sitting on their bed while looking outside the window. "How's your sleep?" he kissed her face and sat beside her.

"I'm fine." she answered meekly. "Someone called you?"

"Diego called about your post. Do you want Wynwyn to make a statement for you?"

"No need. I am just an Internet idol. People will forget me over time."

"Are you happy that you quit?" Travis inquired since she was staring into space again.

Jillyanna didn't answer his question. She played with her fingers and took a long breath before speaking. "I've got secrets to tell you."

"Hn? Go ahead. I'm listening." he encouraged her.

"I am not what you think I am. While wo-" she was interrupted with a phone call. She glanced at her phone and found a familiar number. Her face paled and she started panicking. "Let me answer this first."

She walked out of the room and went to her old little room. She found her small chair and sat on it. "Summer speaking."

"Winter told me that you regained your memories." It was her teacher. "How did you remember it?"

"I just remembered it."

"Summer, what happened back then wasn't your fault. It was her own volition to help you. She wanted you to get justice for your mother."

"I know. I am not blaming anyone." Sorry and regret won't bring someone back to life. "I won't blame myself either."

"Winter wanted to talk to you." Her teacher said. "She's beside me."

"I don't want to talk to her. I don't want to hear any accusations anymore. She can keep her opinion to herself. I don't need it." Jillyanna responded in anger. She thought that they'd be a happy family since she's a cousin of Travis. She didn't know that things would turn out this way.

"You should at least talk to her. Hear her out before you judge her."

"Did she hear me out? She judged me without even hearing my side! Why should I give her that privilege?"

"Jillyanna. Listen -"

"I'm busy. I don't have time for chitchat and I am taking back my things. You don't have the right to lend my things without my permission."

"I'm sorry okay!" It was Winter who yelled at her. "Why won't you listen?!"

"That's not how a person should apologize." Jillyanna answered before ending the call. She was so angry and frustrated. She can't believe she was yelled at! Travis didn't even do that to her.

Winter slumped back on her seat. She was dispirited and helpless. "I don't think I can  get her forgiveness." she tossed the phone on the table and sighed.

"No matter how you think and turn the world, you are at fault this time. Not only did you judge her once but twice. It's a good thing you didn't tell your cousin. Apologize to her properly." Their teacher told her. "Don't agitate her. She's pregnant."

"Aren't you hurt with her words?" Winter asked. The phone call was on loud speaker earlier so she heard everything Jillyanna said.

"A little bit. However, we can't blame her at all."

"You just favored her the most." Winter said with a chuckle before leaving.
