Chasing After My Wife

WEAK MASTERMIND

WEAK MASTERMIND

She didn't allow him to make a second shot. With the knife in her hand, she hit his forearms making the man released his grip from the gun.

Jillyanna took it and shot his thighs as well the man with the glasses. She can't let them stand or walk around. She turned to the woman who was pale in contrast to the bloody scene.

"How are you?" Jillyanna asked the woman as if it was the most natural thing to do between a criminal and the victim. "Are you excited?" she touched her face with cold knife and smiled sweetly at her. "I'm having fun and I like you to join me." she whispered close to her ears before wounding her face with the knife.

"Please stop." the woman cried while covering her wounded face. "Please don't kill me."

"Did you stop when your victims asked you to?" Jillyanna asked before inflicting another wound. This time on her fair arms. "Did you keep them alive when they wanted to?" she wounded her again in her thighs. "Did you even guilty when you see their parents hugging their daughter's dead body?" Jillyanna asked these questions and each question will correspond to a wound.

The woman groaned in so much pain. Her tears fell on the cold floor but Jillyanna didn't feel any pity for her at all. "What a weak criminal you are."

She turned towards the two man lying on the cold floor. Without any words of warning, she stomped her foot on their thighs that she shot earlier.

"Aarrggh! Stop it!" the older man shouted at the top of his lungs. He wanted to punch Jillyanna's legs but Jillyanna beat him to it. Whenever she would reach out to punch her, she would removed her foot from him and stomped on him again when he's let his guard down. She did it at least ten times until the man fainted from the pain.

She saw the woman that Valkyrie showed her in one of the cells. Her eyes were wide in shock and fear. Her lips trembled and she was about to cry.

"Professor Liam, are you involved in this horrible crime?" she asked with her small voice, choking from the emotions welling up in her heart.

The man didn't answer but he lifted the corner of his lips into a smile. There was no warmth in his eyes and he didn't look like he regretted what he has done.

Jillyanna lifted the corner of her mouth as well but her smile was like a signal for an impending doom. She raised her hand with the necklace and stabbed the man on his forearms. "So, you are a professor? I feel sorry for the students who look up to you."

The man didn't say anything and he didn't flinch from pain. Jillyanna sighed and stood up. "You don't have to act you know. Looks like you've got some damaged nerves."

The man looked at her in surprise. He stood up from the ground as if he wasn't shot or stabbed at all. "How do you know?"

"Your eyes said it all." Jillyanna replied nonchalantly to him. She's got blood in different parts of her body but she didn't mind at all. "You're difficult person to deal with."

The man didn't say anything and sat on the chair available around. He was the only person among all the enemies that remained standing because of a nerve damage. He couldn't feel pain.

"You're taking revenge on your students because of what happened to you. Is it their fault?" Jillyanna uttered after a few seconds of silence. "It is a waste that you turned like this."

"You know nothing." the man retorted.

"Of course I don't know anything. It's not like we are friends. Duhh? Do you think I'm stupid like you?" she mocked the person in front of her like he was some kind of idiot.

Lyka was still crying on her cell upon knowing that her professor was involved in this crime. She looked like she had something else to say but she was afraid to confirm it.

"You killed the victims." she stated without any expression. "And you throw them at the river."

The man didn't deny it at all. He just sat there watching Jillyanna talk on her own. Jillyanna didn't want to continue their conversation either. She walked around him a couple of times while looking at the mess she made. "This bunch of fools. Did they really think someone would offer herself to them?"

She kept mocking them and kicked them which made them groan in pain again. When the man didn't turn his head, with the back of the gun, Jillyanna hit his head to make him lose his consciousness.

"What a mess." she uttered while looking for the keys to the cell. She opened each of the cell and wrapped the women with blankets to cover their shivering body.

"Are you guys scared of me?" she asked them because she was afraid that she caused more trauma to the students.

They all shook their heads and clutched the blankets tightly. Their shoulders trembled and they started sobbing in front of her.

"Alright. Just cry it. Just let it go. You're all safe now." she comforted them and hugged them one by one. "I am glad that you hold on to your life. It's okay. Everything will be okay once we get out." she patted their head gently and smiled at them.

No matter what she do, they still cried so much in front of her. They cried from so much relief and from the fact that they would be able to escape from the terror and trauma.

They stopped crying when they heard several footsteps from the outside. Jillyanna knew they weren't enemies but the students with her didn't. They all hid behind her back, trembling from fear of what was coming to them.

She heard different room being opened and cries of fear and shock. "There are other girls aside from us?" she asked the women and they all nodded their heads.
