Rebirth in Against the Gods with The Ultimate System

Chapter 168: The Adventurous Date (I)

Chapter 168: The Adventurous Date (I)

It was meant to be an ordinary day, a rare occasion for peace and tranquility to reign supreme. Unfortunately, serenity had other plans—especially when Yun Che was involved.

Nestled high in the mountains, a grand sect stood proudly, its main building a symbol of authority overseeing the entire domain. Suddenly, the tranquility shattered as the massive doors of the sect burst open, revealing a young man dashing out, carrying a braided woman in his arms. The woman clung to him, a carefree smile gracing her face, as if the chaos unfolding behind them was just another thrilling adventure.

In hot pursuit, a horde of sect members trailed after them, expressions of fury and determination etched on their faces. Rather than opting for the safe route, the young man, Yun Che, made a daring decision. Without hesitation, he leaped off the perilous height, landing gracefully on the snowy slope below. In a flash, he conjured a snowboard, turning their escape into a thrilling ride down the mountain.

"From a date to this... How did it even happen?" Yun Che mused aloud, maintaining his balance on the swiftly moving snowboard.

"But, it's so much fun, Yuu-kun!" Retsu chimed in, her voice carrying genuine joy despite the chaos around them.

As they surfed down the slope, the sect crumbled in the wake of an avalanche unleashed by Yun Che. Laughter mixed with the rumbling of the snow, creating a symphony of exhilaration and chaos that echoed through the mountains.

[Freeze Frame]

"Yup, that's me… You're all probably wondering how I ended up in this situation."

===========

On that particular morning, Yun Che returned home after completing his daily missions in the training realm. With his mind brimming with creative ideas, he set to work on designing their future house in the third level of the Imperial Palace. Cang Wanhe had generously granted him access to the expansive third level, and Yun Che found himself faced with the exciting task of crafting a home for his growing group.

As Yun Che delved into the creative process, his sketches and plans aimed to capture the essence of Lin Xin's manor, but on a grander scale. He envisioned a fusion of traditional Japanese architecture, blending seamlessly with the cultural nuances of this world. Cang Yue's desire was clear—she didn't yearn for a grand royal mansion. Instead, all she wanted was a warm and inviting place to call home for her small family.

The challenge lay not only in creating a residence for Cang Yue but also in designing a space that would comfortably accommodate him, her, Retsu, Mio, and Nemu. Yun Che, with his harem expanding, envisioned a modest abode that possessed the potential to grow in size, gracefully adapting to the needs of his ever-expanding family.

In this endeavor, Yun Che sought to strike the perfect balance between the tranquility of traditional Japanese manors and the rich cultural tapestry of their current world.

The vast expanse of the third level offered more than Yun Che had initially imagined—stretching over 50 kilometers horizontally. Though the possibilities were enticing, he focused on crafting a humble yet elegant space for his loved ones.

While the idea of using profound energies for bodily functions was common among cultivators, Yun Che considered the needs of common people, including his harem's preference for modern conveniences. The request for modernized toilets, similar to the ones they enjoyed back at Lin Xin's manor, was a priority. After all, once you experienced the comfort of modern toilets, going back to traditional ones was out of the question.

In Cang Yue's courtyard home, Yun Che had already introduced working plumbing systems and even installed a small fusion reactor, allowing him to use Electrical Energy Transmitter or ERT. The same used back in Lin Xin's manor where electrical radiation makes electrical outlets useless. Nemu, with her insatiable scientific curiosity, was captivated by the modern amenities. She eagerly took notes, absorbing every detail about the fusion reactor, switches, plumbing systems, and common electrical fixtures like lights and ceiling fans.

Nemu's enthusiasm for learning ignited a spark in Yun Che, making the process of designing their new home even more exciting. The innovation didn't go unnoticed, and the fame of the modern toilets spread like wildfire within the Imperial Palace. Cang Wanhe himself expressed interest, willing to invest in incorporating these modern conveniences into various parts of the palace.

The fusion of tradition and modernity was taking shape, making Yun Che's venture into architecture an unexpected yet rewarding endeavor.

"I'm home," Yun Che announced as he swung open the door leading to his courtyard room.

"Ara, welcome home, Yuu-kun," Retsu's voice greeted him, a tone akin to a wife welcoming her husband home. He leaned in, pressing a gentle kiss to her cheek.

"Retsu, did you accompany Mio and Nemu this morning?" Yun Che inquired as his first fiancée is currently home knowing that she left with her sisters this morning.

"Yes, but I finished with mine and Nemu's Kido's training, and now it's Mio's turn. I came back early to prepare lunch, though it's still a bit early. I busied myself with flower arrangements in the meantime," Retsu explained, her smile reflecting the beauty she brought to Cang Yue's courtyard through her floral artistry. Many palace maids wished to learn her craft, but time constraints limited her teaching sessions.

"What about Little Yue?" Yun Che asked.

"She mentioned focusing on her Rokushiki training today after returning from the Frozen Cloud Asgard tour with Sister Yuechan. It seems she gained enough insights to begin her practice. Muu… I wish we could have met her the other day," Retsu expressed her regret. Chu Yuechan and Little Fairy had visited the palace two days ago, but Yun Che and Retsu were away training, missing the chance to meet her.

"I see," Yun Che nodded in understanding, sharing in the missed opportunity.

"Well… Do you need a bath? An early lunch or...," she paused, her cheeks flushing and perking her bottom. "Do you want me~~~ instead?"

Yun Che's eyes widened at Retsu's bold teasing. Pulling her into a hug, he whispered, "Since when did you learn to tease me like this?"

"Ufuu~ Yachiru taught me a lot of things. She said you might like it," Retsu purred.

"I admit I do, Retsu, but I can only choose the third option once we're married," he whispered back, holding her tight. "Don't mind if I do when that time comes."

"Mouu… Yuu-kun, it's embarrassing," Retsu squirmed in his hug, but instead of pulling away, she tightened it as if not wanting to let him go.

"The teaser getting teased back," Yun Che teased, making Retsu blush in embarrassment. Seeing her reaction, he smiled before proposing something he had wanted to do since they met.

"Since you're here… why don't we go on a date?" Yun Che suggested.

"A date?" Retsu wondered.

"Just the two of us. I owe you a proper date after you confessed your feelings to me. Now that Mio and Nemu are training on their own, and Little Yue is occupied with her training, this might be the only time we have for just the two of us. Me and you," Yun Che explained, instantly piquing Retsu's interest. A one-on-one date with her beloved was the moment she had been eagerly anticipating.

"A date with Yuu-kun. But, I need to get ready. I don't have proper outfits," Retsu said, starting to overthink the best way to plan the perfect date. Yun Che gently patted her head and sighed.

"Retsu, just don't plan anything. Let's just go out together. No need to look pretty and all. It's just the two of us," he suggested, releasing her before holding her hand. With a confession-like tone, he added, "So, will you go out with me?"

Not entirely familiar with the meaning of the phrase, Retsu interpreted it as an invitation for a date—a moment she had been waiting for. Squealing in happiness, she smiled, tightening her grip on his hand.

"Why did you say it as if you were proclaiming your love for me? Mouuu… Yes, please go out with me," Retsu happily agreed.

Hand in hand, they set off to the Imperial City, embarking on a date meant just for the two of them.

===============

Throughout the morning, Yun Che curated a series of picturesque settings for their date. They began with a delightful 'making the chef passed-out with their orders' breakfast at a nice restaurant, followed by a leisurely stroll hand in hand through the city's park. The serene view by the lake provided a moment of tranquility, punctuated by a romantic boat ride and exhilarating flight together.

Despite the idyllic surroundings, Yun Che couldn't shake off the persistent annoyance of other men attempting to encroach upon their time together. Time and again, Retsu effortlessly thwarted their advances with a mere exertion of her Haki, rendering them unconscious and clearing the path for their uninterrupted romance.

With each thwarted advance, Retsu's determination to protect their cherished moment only grew stronger. This was her time with Yun Che, earned through patience and perseverance, and she refused to let anyone, or anything disrupt their bond. As they continued their date, Yun Che couldn't help but admire Retsu's unwavering resolve and the depth of their connection amidst the distractions of the outside world.

Yun Che and Retsu enjoyed simple strolls together, finding more value in their connection than extravagant outings. Holding hands, sharing smiles, and quiet conversations brought them contentment. Yun Che appreciated this change from his old world's pressure for grand gestures. He found joy in their intimate moments, feeling grateful for Retsu's presence and realizing that true happiness lies in genuine connection.

"It's nice having time like this for ourselves." Retsu spoke as they both sat near the fountain in one of the small parks in the Imperial City. Seeing people walking around meant a lot for them, as they simply wanted to enjoy their date peacefully. Retsu wore a simple pink kimono with a parasol that had a veil around her face. Instead of flying, they strolled after reaching the outskirts of the Imperial City from the Imperial Palace. There were places Yun Che had wanted to visit ever since he read about the city in the web novel. Places that he wished to see directly. Now, he was living his fantasy, taking Retsu out on a date with the hope of exploring the Imperial City's unseen corners.

"You and me both. With all that's happening, I really wanted to spend time with you, my first love. We might have had a lot of mini-dates, but we've never had a proper date together, just the two of us," Yun Che spoke, patting his fiancée's head. Today was meant to be free of any battles, focusing solely on the couple's time together.

Minus the interruptions back then.

"Mouuu… You're embarrassing me, but I really wanted to spend time with you as well, my Yuu-kun," Retsu said hearing him call her his first love, smiling happily as she slung her arm through his. Then, with a mischievous smile, she added, "Ufuu~, Mio is going to be so jealous."

"Ehem… Yuu-kun, in your previous life, have you ever gone out on a date before?" Retsu suddenly asked, catching Yun Che off guard. He widened his eyes, realizing that she was right—he never went anywhere with Xia Qingyue, and his encounters with Xiao Lingxi were during their initial interactions. What about his previous life? Moreover, she seemed eager to know more about it, as he knew everything about her, but the same couldn't be said for Retsu.

"Previous life, huh?" Yun Che mused to himself, speaking not as Yun Che but as the real owner, Yukihira Yuuki. He glanced towards the skies before returning his gaze to Retsu. "No, actually. I really didn't have any time for a normal life back then. Due to some situations, I was afraid that something might happen to anyone again."

"Again…?" Retsu wondered, and he continued before stating a thing of his past life, "Back then, I did have a fiancée."

Silence fell as Retsu processed this information. She had no knowledge of his life before this world, and he had a wife when he arrived here, and now, a fiancée before he was reincarnated.

Yun Che grew quiet, reminiscing about his previous life as Yuuki. Eventually, he spoke, "But, she lost her life in my arms during the war in our world. Now that I have a new life, the memory of her final moments still stings, but it doesn't hurt that bad anymore. I refused to let something like that happen again, now that I have you, Mio, Nemu, and Little Yue. I promise to tell you more about it in the future."

Retsu nodded, a newfound understanding dawning within her as Yun Che shared this part of himself she hadn't known before. The fact that he entrusted such intimate information to her spoke volumes about the depth of trust and love he held for her. Yet, she couldn't shake the feeling that there was still so much she didn't know about his past life, while he seemed to know everything about hers.

"My previous life's memories aren't that pleasant to begin with, despite the perks I brought to this world," Yun Che spoke internally. Even the current owner, Yuuki, had his own set of painful memories.

"Well, a date is supposed to be fun, isn't it?" Yun Che smiled at Retsu, wanting to bury the life he once had behind. This was his current life, and the one he once had was buried long ago, remaining as a memory. He cherished the loved ones he currently had.

"Ufuu~~, yes…" Retsu happily responded. She didn't want their date to shift to a sad mood, but she was glad to know a bit about Yuuki's previous life. One day, she would strive to learn more about him and be the best partner she could ever be for him. Determination surged within Retsu to bridge this gap, not only to be the best partner she could for him but also to become the best alpha spouse her sisters deserved. She yearned to unravel more of Yun Che's history, eager to deepen their bond and create a stronger foundation for their future together.

As Yun Che and Retsu continued their peaceful stroll, their presence unwittingly drew the attention of a group of disciples. Unlike the common men from earlier, these were not to be trifled with. Their formidable aura and menacing demeanor sent shivers down the spines of onlookers. One of them, his eyes alight with admiration, couldn't help but remark upon Retsu's stunning beauty. "A beauty... no, a goddess."

The men themselves were a sight to behold, with tanned, dark-skinned bodies and vibrant yellow hair styled in various intricate forms reminiscent of gyaru men from Yun Che's original world. Clad in dark robes accented with white, their black flower insignia marked them as members of a formidable sect. People who recognized them began to scatter like leaves in the wind, leaving Yun Che and Retsu vulnerable to their sinister intentions.

"The sect master would be pleased if we could capture her!" declared one of the disciples, his eyes gleaming with a covetous hunger as they fixated on Retsu.

"She possesses a beauty that could enhance our cultivation tenfold. Perhaps she harbors a pure Yin energy within her, much like those young women," another disciple mused aloud, which started to irritate Yun Che.

Caught off guard by the sudden threat, Yun Che's mind raced with questions, but before he could voice them, the leader of the group smirked, his gaze locking onto Yun Che with chilling intent. "That kid is her friend. Hmph, we can simply force him to leave, and if he refuses, dispose of him." With a cruel smirk, he issued his orders to the others. "Once the kid is out of the way, use that technique on her."

The other disciples nodded eagerly, their anticipation palpable. "She may appear to be a mere country girl, but her beauty makes her a valuable prize. This could prove to be quite entertaining."

As their senses picked up on the lurking presence of a gang of men with nefarious intentions, Yun Che couldn't help but sigh, knowing that their peaceful date was about to be disrupted. His heart sank, anticipating the inevitable confrontation, but what surprised him more was Retsu's reaction. Despite her sweet smile, her anger simmered beneath the surface, palpable enough to send chills down the spines of those who dared to disturb them.

As Yun Che observed the reactions of the people around him, he couldn't help but notice a disturbing pattern. It was as if a shadow fell over the crowd whenever certain men entered the scene, prompting whispers and hurried movements to conceal their loved ones. The tension in the air was palpable, and warnings to hide wives and daughters only added to Yun Che's growing sense of unease.

His eyes widened in realization. Even here, in the heart of the imperial city, these men were exerting their influence, seemingly taking women at will. Memories of the events in Cyan Town flashed through his mind, stirring a deep-seated injustice within him. Could it be that history was repeating itself, only this time with a sect at the center of it all instead of a powerful family?

As for Retsu, this was her moment, her cherished date with Yun Che, and she was not about to let anyone ruin it. Her calm demeanor masked the storm brewing within her, and Yun Che could sense it. He knew that trying to dissuade her would be futile, especially considering her track record of dealing with unwanted advances.

"Retsu?" Yun Che's voice cut through the tension, drawing her attention. He sighed before conceding to her unspoken desire. "You mind dealing with these pests?"

Internally, Retsu relished the opportunity to unleash her pent-up frustration on these intruders. Yun Che's tacit approval was all she needed to spring into action. "Yes... With pleasure, Yuu-kun," she responded, her smile taking on a mischievous edge.

"Just don't overdo it. I'll be watching nearby. Have fun," Yun Che instructed before retreating to a safe distance, leaving Retsu to handle the situation as she saw fit.

With a wicked grin, Retsu led the men away from prying eyes, her steps deliberate and purposeful. Meanwhile, Yun Che observed from afar, his mind racing with possibilities. This encounter hinted at deeper implications, especially considering the attire of the aggressors. It seemed that this confrontation might escalate beyond a mere chance encounter.

As the men released a cloud of pink smoke, triggering the system's warning, Yun Che's suspicions grew, signaling the beginning of a potentially dangerous confrontation.

As the scent of Pleasure Fragrance wafted through the air, Retsu's curiosity piqued. She watched with a furrowed brow as the perfume enveloped the small park, its intoxicating aroma threatening to overwhelm them all. But to her surprise, the system sprang into action, swiftly nullifying its effect, rendering even the women nearby unaffected.

"Pleasure Fragrance?" Retsu mused aloud, her mind racing to grasp the significance of the situation. She knew all too well the insidious power of such a perfume, infamous for its ability to ensnare women in the throes of uncontrollable lust. But thanks to the system's intervention, its allure was neutralized before it could wreak havoc.

In the face of this unexpected threat, Retsu remained vigilant, her senses heightened as she scanned their surroundings for any signs of danger. The system's swift response served as a stark reminder of the dangers lurking in the shadows, ready to exploit any weakness. But with their defenses bolstered, they stood ready to face whatever challenges lay ahead.

As Retsu pretended to succumb to the effects of the Pleasure Fragrance, her mind filled with thoughts of how to handle the situation. With a calculated move, she staggered towards a secluded area, feigning dizziness as she leaned against a tree. In the shadows, a dozen dark-skinned men lurked, their presence sending a chill down Yun Che's spine as he observed from afar.

The sight of these men stirred a familiar sense of revulsion in Yun Che, reminiscent of the unsavory characters depicted in adult cheating doujins. They exuded an aura of dominance, their intentions clear as they approached Retsu with brazen confidence.

But for Retsu, their approach signaled an opportunity to confront the source of the vile perfume and put an end to their nefarious schemes. As she extended her newfound Haki sense towards them, she recoiled at the foul stench of blood that emanated from their beings, a stark reminder of the atrocities committed in Cyan Town.

Despite the overwhelming nausea that threatened to consume her, Retsu maintained her facade, allowing the men to draw nearer under the pretense of being affected by the perfume. With each step they took, she braced herself for the confrontation ahead, determined to uncover the truth behind their sinister intentions.

"Little sister, why don't you come with us?" As the group of menacing men encircled Retsu, their intentions oozing with malice, she felt a wave of disgust wash over her at their crude attempts to provoke her. This wasn't the first time they had resorted to such tactics, using their charms and a perfume laced with hormones to ensnare unsuspecting women. But Retsu, her senses dulled by the system, wasn't even affected one bit.

"She's one hell of a babe," one of them leered, his eyes gleaming with anticipation as they closed in on her, their predatory instincts in full display.

Surrounded and outnumbered, Retsu maintained a facade of helplessness, her heart pounding with anger and fear as she played along with their twisted game. "Please... please... stay away," she pleaded, her voice trembling with feigned vulnerability as she backed away, her escape route narrowing with each step.

Yet, as the men continued to spew their repulsive promises of companionship, Retsu's anger reached a boiling point. Their words only served to fuel her resolve as she fought to maintain her composure, her fingers itching to unleash her true power against these despicable individuals.

"Then, please give me…" The men were excited as Retsu spoke, her voice dripping with feigned vulnerability, the tension in the air crackled with anticipation. But in an instant, her demeanor shifted, her eyes blazing with a fierce crimson glow as she straightened her posture with deadly intent.

"Your life," she declared coldly, her words cutting through the air like a blade. Suddenly, a dozen cloaked skeletons materialized, their scythes poised menacingly at the throats of the men, rendering them frozen in fear. The alpha males, who had once exuded arrogance and dominance, now trembled before the overwhelming force confronting them.

"This..." one of them stammered, his bravado shattered by the sheer terror gripping his heart. Their so-called cultivation which was Earth Profound Realms were trash in front of her.

Retsu, her expression unreadable, stooped to retrieve the fallen perfume, her eyes flashing with disdain as she examined the bottle. "Trying to control me with this perfume? Ufuu~ How futile."

The men, now reduced to whimpering shadows of their former selves, begged for mercy, but Retsu remained unmoved. With a chilling calmness, she exposed their vile deeds, condemning them for their atrocities against countless innocent women.

"Please... spare our lowly lives," they pleaded, desperation tainting their voices.

But Retsu's laughter cut through the air like a sinister melody, devoid of any trace of mercy. "Lowly? Ufuu~ You don't even deserve to be called lowly. Well now...."

With a sweet smile, she gave them her ultimatum.

With a nod to her skeletal guardians, Retsu sealed their fate. In a swift and merciless display, the skeletons decapitated the dark men, absorbing their essence to empower themselves. As quickly as they had appeared, they vanished, leaving behind only silence and the lingering scent of death.

With a serene smile, Retsu turned away from the scene, her eyes returning to their gentle hue. The secluded area was once again calm, but the memory of her wrath lingered in the air, a stark reminder of the consequences of crossing paths with a force as formidable as she.

===========

In the blink of an eye, dozens of men vanished, their essence absorbed by Retsu's new cloaked and scythed skeleton companions. Inspired by Yun Che's descriptions of the Death God from his world, Retsu had created these skeletal foot soldiers using her Bankai blood arts. Ignis, her prime attacker, stood ready at her side, while her blood hawk served as her ranged assailant.

As the dust settled, Yun Che appeared beside her, his presence a comforting reassurance in the aftermath of the confrontation. "So, are you done?" he inquired, his tone calm yet curious.

"Hnnn… Yuu-kun, I…" Retsu began, her thoughts swirling with questions about the men they had just faced. Her senses had gleaned a wealth of information from their scent alone, and she was eager to unravel the mystery further. But before she could voice her concerns, Yun Che spoke again, acknowledging the missed opportunity to interrogate one of their adversaries.

"Don't worry, you did the right thing," he assured her. "Perhaps Eagle Scent can help us track them down."

Together, they resumed their stroll through the streets, intending to continue their interrupted date. However, their peace was short-lived as they were drawn to a heart-wrenching scene unfolding before them.

"Big sister! Big sister, where are you?" cried a young girl, her voice tinged with desperation and longing. The streets echoed with her pleas, but her older sister was nowhere to be found.

Their attention captured, Yun Che and Retsu watched as the girl's mother tried to reassure her, her words strained with false optimism. Despite her attempts to comfort her daughter, her own expression betrayed her fears, casting a shadow over the scene.

In that poignant moment, Yun Che and Retsu exchanged a silent understanding, their hearts weighed down by empathy for the family's anguish. As they observed the unfolding drama before them, a newfound determination ignited in their eyes – a shared resolve to assist the distraught family and unravel the mystery of the missing sister. Their thoughts turned to Lin Xin and Xueli, the memories of their own struggles lending urgency to their desire to help.

"Alright then," Yun Che spoke, his voice tinged with a sense of purpose. Puzzled by the sudden intervention of the system, he decided to inquire further, addressing the mother and child alongside Retsu.

"Excuse me," he began, drawing the mother's attention. "I didn't mean to intrude."

"No, we were just leaving," the mother replied, her voice tinged with weariness.

"Wait… you're looking for someone?" Yun Che pressed on, sensing an opportunity to offer assistance.

"Big brother, please find my sister. She…" the young girl pleaded, her voice trailing off as her mother silenced her gently.

"We might be able to help," Retsu interjected, her voice soothing as she guided the mother to a nearby fountain, inviting her to sit.

The mother's story unfolded, revealing the heart-wrenching truth of her daughter's disappearance. Yun Che listened intently as she recounted the harrowing events – sightings of her daughter being abducted by bald, black-skinned men, the ominous insignia of black-white-robed figures, and the chilling silence that followed their sudden disappearance.

"What is her name? The older sister, I mean," Yun Che inquired, gaining more information to ease his search.

The mother hesitated briefly before responding, her voice heavy with concern. "Her name is Ling Ming. You will be able to find her since she shares my resemblance. This is her younger sister, Ling Ning, and I am Ling Mu."

Yun Che nodded, absorbing the information as his mind raced to connect the dots. "I see… Any place where those men usually gather?" he inquired, his tone thoughtful yet determined.

"The Eighteen Flowers Pavilions. The infamous brothels of the city," the mother confessed, her voice heavy with despair. She admitted to shadowing the men for days, desperate for any clue about her missing daughter.

"Figures. I'm sure we can help," Yun Che declared with quiet determination, offering the mother a vial of health potion for her bruised cheek. Turning to the younger child, he flashed a reassuring smile and gently patted her head.

"Don't worry, little one. We'll find your sister."

=========

As Yun Che and Retsu reassured the distressed mother, their resolve solidified. They would take on the task of finding the missing sister and unraveling the dark secrets of the Eighteen Flowers Pavilions. With determination fueling their steps, they set off towards the infamous brothel district, ready to confront whatever challenges lay ahead.

However, as they neared the district, a wave of repulsive stench assaulted their senses, causing Retsu to recoil in disgust. Even Yun Che struggled to maintain his composure, his brows furrowing in discomfort as he filtered out the offensive odor. It was unlike anything they had encountered before, a putrid smell that seemed to seep into their very being.

Retsu couldn't help but wonder why this particular district emitted such a foul odor, her curiosity piqued by the unsettling atmosphere. Despite her discomfort, she remained determined to press forward, her resolve unshaken.

Meanwhile, Yun Che activated his Eagle Vision, allowing him to scan the area and identify their target amidst the chaos of the brothel district. With precision honed by his Haki abilities, he marked the target with a shimmering gold intent, intent on tracking them back to their main base without resorting to violence.

As Yun Che and Retsu observed from their hidden vantage point, their senses honed in on the unfolding scene before them. Three men emerged from the brothel, their sinister intentions evident as they dragged several women along with them. The gold marks from their Eagle Vision confirmed their affiliation with the sect responsible for the kidnappings.

"Where are those bastards? They should be here right now," one of the men grumbled, his disdain palpable as he scanned the area.

"They're probably indulging in their 'cultivation.' We can wait for them to return," another replied nonchalantly, his demeanor betraying a casual cruelty.

Disgust twisted Retsu's features as she observed the women being dragged along, their expressions filled with fear and resignation. These were not willing participants but victims of exploitation, their lives reduced to mere commodities.

"With these women, we can secure a steady supply of Yin Energy. Hope those brats find the one who innately Yin Energy." The sinister conversation among the men sent a chill down Yun Che's spine, each word dripping with malice and greed.

"Yin Energy?" Yun Che's voice was low, his brows furrowed in contemplation as he tried to piece together the puzzle unfolding before them.

"These men cultivating by absorbing Yin Energy from women. I heard them talking back then. It's the same with those people back in Cyan Town." Retsu's response confirmed his suspicions, her words adding clarity to the dark intentions of the men they were observing. The echoes of their conversation stirred memories of the horrors they had encountered in Cyan Town, where innocent women had been ruthlessly exploited for their energy.

Understanding dawned on Yun Che as he connected the dots. The cultivation method employed by these men mirrored that of the Wang Family, revealing a disturbing network of exploitation that stretched far beyond their current location. The mention of the Frozen Cloud Asgard only served to deepen his unease, hinting at a larger conflict on the horizon.

"I see," Yun Che murmured, a flicker of realization dancing in his eyes. Could it be that the cultivation method employed here was akin to the one practiced by the Wang Family back in Cyan Town? Those despicable individuals had been siphoning Yin Energy from innocent women in Cyan Town, exploiting their vulnerabilities for their own gain. But what if the Wang Family was merely a subordinate faction of this larger sect? If his intuition proved right, then he had stumbled upon a goldmine of information.

A surge of excitement coursed through Yun Che. If his deductions held true, these people were undoubtedly supported by a formidable sect, enabling them to operate so brazenly in plain sight.

He took a deep breath, his mind racing with possibilities. Unraveling this mystery could lead to uncovering the roots of a powerful network, one that held sway over not just Cyan Town, but perhaps the entire region. With newfound determination, Yun Che vowed to delve deeper into the secrets lurking beneath the surface, knowing that uncovering the truth would require both caution and cunning.

[Ding… Replying to your question, most women in this world are born with innate Yin Energy, making them the geniuses of the century. This inherent energy not only grants them natural beauty but also serves as the bedrock of their cultivation, bestowing upon them remarkable power. However, the true extent of their innate talents is often only recognized once they reach the age of 16.]

===========

"So that's why they deliberately target 16-year-old girls," Yun Che mused aloud, his tone tinged with a mixture of disgust and determination. Frozen Cloud Asgard had evidently identified and nurtured these exceptional talents early, preempting the sinister designs of this NTR sect. The thought of these vile individuals preying on unsuspecting young women, corrupting their innocence and enslaving them to their twisted desires.

A wicked grin spread across Yun Che's face as a plan formed in his mind. Destroying these despicable bastards like this had been a long-standing desire of his, fueled by his disdain for such depraved acts. Their mention of a Grand Sect Master only strengthened his resolve. It was clear that this sect was not operating in isolation but was part of a larger, more sinister network that needed to be dismantled. Also, the need to find the power that supports this sect.

His grin faded slightly as he recalled the parting cultists' words. "Their so-called Grand Sect Master likely hides deep within their stronghold, controlling it all."

"Retsu? It seems our date is about to take an unexpected turn," Yun Che remarked, his gaze focused on the distant figures.

Retsu nodded, a mischievous glint in her eyes. "Ufuu~~ It appears we're on the same page," she replied with a smile, her anticipation evident.

With a determined nod, Yun Che activated his tracking skills and set off after the men. As he was about to make his way, a voice tugged his ears.

"Ahh~ Big brother…. Are you here to see me? Did you finally leave that skank at Floating Cloud City?" Yun Che turned around to find a woman in a skimpy outfit, triggering a vague memory of someone Xiao Lingxi had protected him from before. Could this woman be the same one, having migrated from Floating Cloud City to the Imperial City?

"Finally, we can…." The woman attempted to approach him, but Retsu swiftly stepped in front of her, her presence emanating a formidable aura. The woman gritted her teeth, sizing up Retsu's beauty, which rivaled that of the woman from Floating Cloud City that slapped her hand back then.

"Would you kindly leave us be?" Retsu growled, her eyes devoid of emotion, reminiscent of the original Unohana Retsu.

Refusing to give up on the charming young man before her, the woman grinned, "Ah~ Big brother, you've already moved on? You could've chosen me. I would have shown you a good time."

Before she could say more, her eyes widened in terror as she saw an illusory, bloodied skull looming behind Retsu, ready to strike. With a terrified yelp, the woman hastily fled, her bravado crumbling in the face of Retsu's chilling presence.

As the surrounding crowd began to distance themselves, Retsu's unsettling aura gradually dissipated, replaced by the demeanor of a sweet young woman once more. Yun Che gently tapped her shoulder, bringing her out of her anger-induced trance. "Retsu?"

Startled by his touch, Retsu snapped back to reality, her expression softening. "Ara… I… She was insulting you…I… "

Yun Che raised his hands in a placating gesture. "It's okay. I knew you'd handle her. Little Aunt scared her off last time, and you did it this time. I don't want anything to do with a woman like that. Did you catch her scent?"

"Ufuu~~ Your scent is perfect, Yuu-kun. There's no way I'll allow some skank to ruin it," Retsu replied with a sweet smile, her anger simmering beneath the surface like a hidden flame. Unaware of the murmurs that had begun circulating about her, she was filled with a potent mix of anger and annoyance the moment the other woman appeared.

That woman's scent was indeed repugnant, a foul stench of sin and corruption clinging to her like a dark cloud. How dare she approach her man, attempting to contaminate him with her vile presence? Retsu's fingers twitched with the urge to resort to violence, but she refrained, reigning in her fury with iron discipline.

Yun Che, sensing her agitation, gently placed a hand on her shoulder, his touch grounding her in reality. "Let's not dwell on her. She's not worth our time."

Retsu's gaze softened as she met Yun Che's reassuring eyes, her anger slowly dissipating like morning mist under the sun's warmth. With a nod, she let out a small sigh, the tension easing from her frame. "You're right, Yuu-kun. Let's focus on our mission."

Yun Che decided it was best to move away from the gossip and quickly guided Retsu to an open area. Deploying Minazuki, they embarked on an unexpected detour, turning what could have been a mundane outing into an exhilarating adventure in pursuit of the vile sect.

=======================

"Yuu-kun? Why did these men smell so foul when I used Eagle Scent on them?" Retsu inquired, her brow furrowed with curiosity. A question she wanted to ask for a while now. They are currently onboard Minazuki approaching their targetted zone.

Recently, Yun Che had imparted upon Retsu and Mio a new technique: infusing their Haki into their sense of smell. With Eagle Vision, they could discern intent visually, and now, with Eagle Scent, their noses became finely attuned to the subtleties of scent.

Nemu hadn't even mastered Eagle Vision yet and Cang Yue was fully immersed in honing her skills in the three-sword style and Rokushiki arts. Therefore, learning Eagle Scent would have to wait for them until they were ready to take on another aspect of their training.

"Eagle Scent enhances your olfactory senses, allowing you to detect even the faintest of scents and track targets based on their unique odor," Yun Che elucidated, his voice carrying the weight of expertise. "Think of it as having the sharpest nose in the room, capable of discerning individual scents amidst a sea of aromas."

"Ah, I see," Retsu nodded, absorbing the information. Yet, her cheeks flushed as she recalled the intoxicating scent of Yun Che. His aroma had been so captivating that she and Mio had found themselves drawn to him, enveloping themselves in his scent for hours on end. It was as if he possessed a fragrance uniquely tailored to each of them, a scent that stirred a deep longing within their hearts.

With a wistful smile, Retsu realized that Yun Che's scent held a power beyond mere fragrance—it held the essence of their desire and affection.

Due to the unique and potent nature of Eagle Scent, Retsu and Mio unanimously agreed that it should be reserved exclusively for Yun Che's future wives. Even Yun Che himself nodded in solemn agreement, recognizing the potential dangers of women being drawn to him solely by his irresistible scent. For the first time, Eagle Scent became a forbidden Haki Sense among women, a precautionary measure against unwanted advances.

As they experimented with Eagle Scent, Retsu and Mio found that no other scent could compare to Yun Che's. His aroma was a symphony of allure, unmatched by any other man they encountered. It was as if his scent held the essence of their deepest desires, weaving a spell that bound them to him irrevocably.

However, amidst the sea of scents, they also encountered odors that turned their stomachs. Some individuals emitted foul, putrid smells that permeated the air, making it difficult to remain in their presence. Even those with outward beauty often concealed a scent as repugnant as decayed flesh. In such moments, Eagle Vision became their saving grace, allowing them to navigate through the noxious odors of the world.

Yun Che further elaborated on the intricacies of scent, explaining how love and marriage could transform even the most ordinary aroma into something beautiful. "Marriage creates a new scent—a blend of love and commitment that transcends individual fragrances," he elucidated. "It's like mixing the perfect ingredients to create a masterpiece of scent, signaling the harmony of a happily married couple."

Retsu pondered his words, intrigued by the notion of scent as a reflection of marital bliss. "So, marriage has its own scent," she mused, captivated by the idea.

"Indeed," Yun Che affirmed with a nod. "And with Eagle Scent, we can detect the purity of that bond, ensuring the fidelity of those we hold dear."

"Now, here's where it diverges. Mixing lust with the absence of love creates a permanently foul scent between partners," Yun Che elucidated, his words carrying an analysis from the system. "The man and the woman contaminate each other to the point where their combined fragrance is akin to mixing two foul perfumes. Imagine if that man or woman engaged in a dual cultivation spree with others. Their intentions become tainted, making the scent even more repugnant. The more partners they engage with, the more pungent it becomes, like layering bad perfumes one after another. That's why the smell worsens in brothel areas back then—it's a testament to the impurity of their intentions."

Yun Che spoke with a solemn tone, emphasizing the significance of Eagle Scent in detecting infidelity. He reflected on how, in his original world, the ability to cultivate such a skill would have led to a drastic reevaluation of societal norms. Individuals with high body counts would have been shunned, relegated to the fringes of society, their very scent repulsive enough to induce nausea in others.

The need to dispel the foul odors just to tolerate their presence underscored the severity of the situation. Fortunately, the system had developed a countermeasure, making the scent visible to Eagle Vision. This allowed individuals to discern the scent of others, offering a layer of protection against deceit and betrayal.

But perhaps the most intriguing aspect was how the scent alone could incite curiosity about a person's past experiences. Merely catching a whiff could lead to speculation about the number of partners someone had been with—a testament to the power of scent in revealing one's true nature.

"Then, what if you plan to marry all of us? Wouldn't that make your scent worse?" Retsu inquired, her voice tinged with concern as stacked individuals in marriage will create a bad scent for him.

"No, not exactly," Yun Che reassured her, his tone gentle yet firm. "According to the system, you, me, Mio, and Cang Yue have pledged our love to each other. Moreover, each of you girls loves each other like sisters—a family within our big family. So, if we marry each other with feelings of love and commitment, my scent will actually improve by the four of you. The love shared between my wives and me, as well as among yourselves, will create a stronger and more pleasant fragrance than an ordinary married couple."

Retsu's expression brightened with understanding, the worries melting away as she absorbed Yun Che's explanation. It meant that their union would not only be based on love and loyalty but would also enhance their shared aura, creating a bond that transcended ordinary marriages.

"So it means, if we create a harem with love, loyalty, support, devotion, and commitment, we will actually emit a wonderful scent together," Retsu concluded, her eyes alight with newfound understanding. She realized that their bond wasn't just about physical attraction but about building a deep and lasting connection with one another.

However, Yun Che's expression turned serious as he added, "But remember, infidelity is a choice, not a mistake. If anyone breaks that bond, it will contaminate our marriage scent and destroy us from within. Cheating is something we cannot tolerate—it shatters trust irreparably."

Their resolve strengthened as they affirmed their commitment to each other, understanding that their love was not only precious but also fragile. They vowed to protect their bond at all costs, knowing that it was the foundation of their happiness and harmony.

In other words, a sniff of Eagle Scent is all they need to discover an infidelity. An amusing ability among couples.

"Remember, you've got two scents now, yours and Yachiru's," Yun Che reminded Retsu, his voice tinged with a mix of amusement and concern. "If she doesn't love me…"

Retsu's blush deepened as she considered his words, her own voice soft but assured. "Oh, don't worry about that, Yuu-kun. She loves you deeply. But I'm more concerned about what awaits you once we're married. Yachiru made it clear she's been waiting for far too long, and you've got quite the debt to settle."

Yun Che's cheeks burned crimson at the thought, his dread palpable in the air. "Yachiru, if you can hear me... Please, have mercy."

Retsu's response, though delivered with a blush, left no room for negotiation. "She says no can do. You'll just have to deal with it, or else mama will come looking for you. That's what she said."

"Ehem…. Some marriages aren't as pleasant-smelling as marriages without love. They still have the same scent as relationships without marriage," Yun Che spoke with a fake cough, his discomfort evident. The weight of his words hung heavy in the air, casting a shadow over the conversation. "So, if women offer to become my concubines, there's no way in hell I want them, as they will only make my smell worse."

His tone shifted, a hint of determination creeping in as he continued, "I want a harem where all women support each other, where jealousy and envy have no place. You, Mio, Cang Yue, and Little Fairy can mix well together. Nemu might need some time to get to know Little Fairy. However, Xia Qingyue needs to blend in too, or else our relationship might be as good as dead."

Retsu's curiosity sparked a question, "You said before you can use Eagle Scent to detect infidelity among men and women?"

"Yes," Yun Che confirmed, his voice grave. "Another foreign scent without love, familiarity, or marriage can permanently contaminate the perfect smell they have. No matter how much they lie or apologize, the smell will never go away. It will permanently be there unless the owner of the other scent is deceased which takes a long time to dissipate. If Eagle Scent can be cultivated by anyone, pure men and women will be treated like royalty, while those not pure will be treated like dirt."

Retsu nodded solemnly, understanding the gravity of their situation. They had to tread carefully, ensuring their scents remained untainted until they were married. Anything less could jeopardize their future together, and the consequences could be dire. Her eyes reflecting the seriousness of the matter. During her recent interactions, she had detected some individuals with foul odors, especially certain couples. While some pairs emitted pleasant scents together, others exuded a repulsive aroma. She had found it perplexing until Yun Che's explanation provided clarity.

"Now I understand why the system refused to allow us dual cultivation before marriage. It wanted all of us to create the most pleasant smell for our family. Should infidelity occur, the system would permanently mark them as traitors, and the system has no tolerance for traitors." Yun Che spoke in his mind. For this, he was grateful the Gamer's Mind was given to him by the system.

"I see… Yuu-kun, I promised to become the best loving partner I can be. Even Mio-chan and Little Yue had similar thoughts. I don't know about Nemu, but I am sure we're on the same boat," Retsu affirmed, her voice steady with determination. Her mind suddenly remembers Nemu, silently urging her to confirm her feelings, knowing that each woman's commitment was essential to their shared future.

With a gentle pat on her head, Yun Che smiled warmly, his eyes reflecting genuine affection. "You girls are already the best partners I could have. Your scent reflects your intent, and to me, it's incredibly pleasant and beautiful. The same goes for Mio, Nemu, and Cang Yue. Your floral aroma is like a sweet melody that I never want to end. I'm almost addicted to it. If it weren't for Gamer's Mind, I might lose my calm. Thank goodness we have that mental fortitude, or else we might succumb to our instincts."

"I was right. You do smell pleasant and addicting, Yuu-kun. There's no way I could imagine another man with this kind of scent," Retsu admitted, her blush hidden beneath a veil of composure. Memories flooded back of the moments she spent wrapped in his scent, feeling safe and cherished. "I'm addicted to this aroma," she confessed softly, her heart fluttering at the thought.

As she recalled their shared experiences, Retsu realized the uniqueness of Yun Che's scent compared to other men. It was a scent that overshadowed all others, a testament to their bond and connection. With Eagle Scent now a part of their lives, she understood the importance of preserving their intimacy and exclusivity. If every woman cultivated this ability, Yun Che's peace and privacy would become a distant dream, overshadowed by unwanted attention and interference.

"I couldn't help but ask, what about Xin'er? Isn't her husband's scent still lingering after his death?" Retsu inquired, her curiosity piqued by the intricacies of scent and its implications on relationships.

"In Xin'er's case, her husband's scent does linger on her, as they truly formed a happily married couple's aroma. However, since his passing, his scent is gradually fading away. So, even if I were to marry her, that lingering scent would eventually be replaced by mine. It might take some time," Yun Che explained, his mind contemplating the possibility of a future with Lin Xin as his wife.

"Ah, I see…" Retsu nodded in understanding, contemplating the delicate nuances of scent and its significance in their lives. The thought of Yun Che's scent intertwining with hers and replacing any remnants of past relationships brought a sense of reassurance.

"Let's finish this and get back to our date. Maybe we should refrain from using Eagle Scent for now, to avoid sounding like perverts," Yun Che suggested with a chuckle, eager to return to their leisurely outing. With a nod from Retsu, they urged Minazuki to pick up the pace, setting their sights on the objective zone while leaving behind the complexities of scent and relationships for the time being.

"Yin Devourer Sect? It sounds dreadful. Yuu-kun, any information from the system?" Retsu inquired, her voice tinged with concern.

"I'm not entirely sure. The system only gathers fragments of information from those we've encountered. But judging by the name alone, I can imagine it's akin to Cyan Town, only perhaps worse," Yun Che responded, his expression darkening at the implications.

Retsu clenched her fists, a surge of anger coursing through her. The mere thought of another vile organization like Cyan Town filled her with a sense of righteous indignation. How many innocent women had suffered at the hands of such depraved individuals?

The mention of Cyan Town brought back memories of their harrowing experience, fueling Retsu's resolve. If the Yin Devourer Sect operated similarly, then it had no place in their world.

With determination etched on their faces, Yun Che and Retsu vowed to put an end to the atrocities of the Yin Devourer Sect, ensuring that no more women would fall victim to their vile deeds.
